The next day I was at the airport with the Jonas family. I said goodbye to them all and thanked Mr. and Mrs. Jonas for everything they had done for me. They left me and nick to have time alone. "So this is it?" I asked. "No, just see you soon" he smiled. I smiled to and hugged him tightly. He buried his head in my shoulder. Neither of us wanted to let go but my flight was called. I said my last goodbyes to the Jonas' then boarded my plane. I tried to look at them for as long as possible before the flight attendance closed the door. I sat in my seat and closed my eyes. The plane ride was long and tiring but soon I arrived in California. I collected my bags and met John out the front with all the other students who had been offered a scholar ship. We all piled into the mini van and we drove to the hotel. The first six months were crazy. I was doing really well with the scholar ship and it was the most amazing experience ever. My life was perfect except for some one who was missing. Nick. They were on tour with Miley and Niley rumors started. Nick assured me on our midnight phone calls that nothing was going on and they were not dating. All I could do was to believe him. A year went by and I had completed the course at the top of my class. Although everything was perfect I could help but think about Nick. We had really drifted apart. He had so many fans now did he still care about me? I had been a year and two months since Nick and I last saw each other. They were the biggest band in the USA. I was sitting in a coffee shop and some random guy came over to me. He had a dodge moustache and funny curly hair. "Umm hi, mind if I sit here?" he asked. His voice was deep and raspy. "Not at all, I'm Kim" I smiled. "My name is Jerry" he said. "Ha, Jerry, that was Nick's middle name" I smiled. "If you don't mind me asking, who is Nick?" he asked. "Nick was the boy I loved" "You used past tense, did something happen?" he said as he raised his eye brows. "I don't know, we haven't seen each other in over a year and we just grew apart" "And now you don't know if he still cares about you?" "Yeah, oh I'm sorry I don't mean to dump this all on a perfect stranger" "It's ok" he smiled. We talked for a bit longer and then we both left. Jerry seems nice, yet, strangely familiar.
